Wonder if Asus gonna put dat sexy ROG armor on future R5F, since they're puttin' it on z87 and z97 (which came later than R4F). What about TUF on Sabertooth x99. Awww man! Definitely gonna buy one of these!

There are no plans for a Rampage V Formula yet. But who knows. Maybe if you got a few hundred people to sign this petition, something will happen. 😛

Hello

X99, like X79, will have a relatively long live so there will most likely be other boards released in the future. Down the road a R5F is a possibility but this could be a long wait. Currently what is ruled out are boards smaller than the ATX form factor.

All these decisions could change in the future so nothing is cast in stone. A small form factor board gives up too much in term of connectivity and usable PCIe lanes for this platform. This sways a lot of users to go with ATX size motherboards instead. Also ROI needs to be great enough to warrant the release of the motherboard. I believe it was TechPowerUp that recently did a survey on motherboards used. Over 70% of users surveyed have ATX size motherboards even though less than 25% of them used more than one video card and a sound card.
