I hope you guys could help me. I'm finding this odd, I just got my G53SX last Jan 3. I haven't run into any issues other than I keep getting high ping whenever I test my internet's speed or whenever I ping websites while on my Router. I can't tell whether its my router or not, I've already gone through multiple routers. Some give me the ping I'm looking (15ms when I ping my ISP's Server or 175ms-220ms when I ping Yahoo.com) but others give me crazily high ping. I actually just updated my WLAN since mine is Atheros but that didn't solve anything other than strengthen my signal with my router.

I think the answer is in your question. If you can ping your ISP at 15ms, wouldn't that mean the problem is beyond that, someplace?
I'd contact your ISP.

Clean Install
I did a clean windows 7 install and updated all the drivers and everything went fine until I got to the ATK driver... The driver installed fine but it is still saying its using the Microsoft driver when I look under the Device Manager.. Any ideas everyone?
Besides that my machine runs great besides a few keys have to be pressed a little hard to work but that doesnt bother me to bad...
Thanks

Where are you looking in Device Manager? If you're looking at your Keyboard driver, there is a separate ASUS keyboard filter driver, but Brody and I aren't using it and observe no changes in functionality. My take - don't worry about installing it.
Keys that are hard to press are a hardware issue. If they prove unbearable, an RMA or attempting the remedy in this thread is required: http://rog.asus.com/forum/showthread...sh-keys-on-G74Last edited by dstrakele; 01-13-2012 at 06:05 PM.

I think you're seeing the MS KB filter. There's an Asus KB filter, too, but it's not required.
Are your fn+ keys working?Read the User's Manual for more info.

Yes my FN Keys are working so that must mean ATK package must be installed...
Thanks for your help.

The ATK Package will show up in the Control Panel list of installed programs. That's where you first uninstall it and REBOOT if you want to upgrade the ATK Package.
