So more about this power mizer switch....... I downloaded it and it says no powermizer settings found.... also checked my registry and there isnt any powermizer key....anyone else try it.......Win 7 64bit, 290 Driver ( has crashed once)

I've seen it in some Nvidia drivers, and not found it in others. So I don't know whether they include it in all drivers and it only installs under certain system conditions, or whether they only include it in certain drivers.

Hopefully someone knows the answer to this...I went ahead and did a clean install from the file here. Everything has gone smooth and perfect. Just have one last driver to find.

Problem fixed I just found it..I had missed one of the drivers...downloaded it but never ran it as it got lost in the mess of drivers I had in a folder

Which model do you have.....and which ethernet card?

OKay....just saw your edit. Be aware that Asus uses different LAN card manufacturers in different models (as they do with many devices). It's going to be Realtek or Atheros, most likely....just be sure you install the right one.

I just figured it out, had missed installing a driver. It was Realtek. Works perfect now. Amazing thread...it was extremely easy to get all of the newest drivers.

What do i have to uninstall exactly in order to use the keyboard fixes? My keyboard seems like its getting worse and worse.

Also what other drivers will i need to download?

That's kind of an open-ended question, without knowing the current status of your system. If you're talking about the OEM Windows installation, there are a few drivers you could update....the WLAN driver is especially important, as the stock driver is a bad one.

If you have done (or are considering) a clean install of Windows, there are about 10 drivers you must install to get full functionality.

What is it about your keyboard that's getting worse? If it's general lagginess, that can come from things like the WLAN driver. If it's missed keystrokes, this can often be alleviated with some updates.....the first step is to update the BIOS to v203 and the ATK Package to v1.0.00014. Then remove all the bloatware you're willing to give up, and update drivers.
