    Thanks!

OK, I added that one. If I get reports about the other one, I'll remove it.

Synaptics Touchpad driver 15.3.25.0 it could just be me it's something wrong with.
If others don't face the same issues that I got with it, there is no need for removing that driver

And the version I'm currently useing is the driver that follows the notebook when you're buying it

But it was pretty annoying that being on one website then suddenly the browser went back to the mainsite or opposite when useing the mouse with the touchpad

Just read your post and wanted to offer some info. I purchased the g74 for my wife on Nov.5th for her birthday. she plays wow on it youtube videos and a lot of facebook games. The machine has not had any problems have not done anything more then windows update. I have the g73 both machines are from Bestbuy.
When I read the reviews on this machine I was like maybe should have gotten something else. But just because some folks have problems do not let it make buyers remorse. Before you go installing the updates you said you downloaded see how it is first. Just like a knowledgeable person on this bb said if it aint broke dont fix it I also use the n52te keypad and the razor deathadder mouse same as my wife on her g74, with no issues and sound is very good and loud on the g74. As far as wireless stuff goes I do not like it because with gaming on wow kills batteries and that gets expensive.
Just a thought. Congrats on you new Asus laptop enjoy it..
hey, thanks for the advice. but the reason i have been researching and collecting drivers, is because i am going to drop a crucial 256gb ssd in my notebook, as soon as i get my hands on it, and will do a completely fresh install of win 7 ult. i have found that normally laptops come with too much crap on them, with older drivers for programs, and buggy performance. if you wipe it clean, and only install that which you will need/use, then the machine will run better, faster and stronger, with more available space for the programs you wish to load. i'm glad your machines are working out for you and your wife, but i always start with a fresh load of the os. thanks again.

Sentelic new driver is better than 9.1.3.5 version, but some features are missing (like vertical orizontal scrolling, on-pad slide page, some gestures) there is a way to fix this?
