Are these temps normal? Since i've heard some temp complaints about the CPU on the JS model.

On idle 39-49C then on Cinema 4D (while Net Rendering/ Rendering) 79-90C
I didnt check gaming yet.
It only reached 90C on the 2nd Core of the i7-4700HQ the others are just 80+

Also can i overclock the GPU (w/ GPU Tweak) without plugging the AC?

Running a G750JS-RS71, im happy with it too.
Planning to also put in a 840 EVO 250GB SSD in it too.

Which core is 90*C? Is it Core 1?

( It goes Core 0, 1, 2, 3 )

I don't like 90*C. But if that's only one core, apparently it's a thermal probe not being so accurate on that specific core. I always have a core that's like 5*C hotter than the rest.

Doesn't matter if you're plugged or not, your card will automatically be throttled as far as I'm aware and will use the Intel GPU.

I have a G750JX, WITHOUT Optimus, so I am not sure.

Aww, so i cant GPU Overclock with battery?
it always say that i need to plug in the AC

Its Core 1 btw, the others are like 87 85 89 (Celcius ofc)

Yep same as mine. Core 1 is 8*C hotter. Do not worry.

And yeah, the battery cannot power the 870m properly to run full on games. That is why you need to plug into the wall.

The G750's are not laptops, they are desktop replacements.

If you are daring though, you could turn off the throttle for the GPU, but that will make your battery last under an hour.
