It's called synth pop and can be classified as disco.

Here's a song that falls into that category and I know you know it.

Hi all, I'm back to catch up the day, as we had company visiting this afternoon.

sk2play, I enjoyed the "Johnny Cash - I've Been Everywhere", I've heard nearly all of his songs.
I'm familiar with many Truck Driving Songs, I'll share this one in regards to what you don't want to see in the mirror.

My first girlfriend at 15yr old (she the same age) went to see Blondie in Concert. Heart of Glass was the encore and done very good.

I enjoyed "O Brother, Where Art Thou", have it on VHS. Now adding Nate152's comment of "deep south, no electricity, and people playing music", I share this one.

In regards to "Giorgio Moroder - Chase" & "Cusco - Inca Dance" I had shared, they are used as the opening & closing theme songs on the "Coast to Coast AM" radio show. http://www.coasttocoastam.com/ I used to try to keep it tuned in on the radio back when we were truck driving as the program runs 4 hours long each night (they have guest on talking about some far-out stuff...ghost hunters, ufo's and such). Then came XM Radio & Sirius Radio, the greatest thing to have when your driving a 10 hour shift accross many states constantly losing radio stations.

To sk2play "Muppets - Popcorn", that was "Hot Butter - Popcorn". From your comment, I opened Inca Dance & Popcorn in separate tabs and played them simultaneously, they eerily compliment each other (should try it).

    I couldn't help it but, here's Beaker.

Yes Nate152, I remember Blondie from my tween'age years. Can't forget about Call Me either.
sk2play, Stevie Nicks is a favorite of my wife's as well as myself. I just asked her of her favorite . . . still waiting . . . she having a difficult time picking out a favorite . . . she loves so many of Stevie Nicks songs . . . she's now debating between Rhianna & Sara . . .
