hey guys. I am doing a oc project at my school and i need help picking the right parts.

my school will provide me with ln2 (yay!) so i will use it to oc, but I also have to find all otheer parts (cpu, mobo... ). since i am a student i qould prefer the parts to be as cheap as tey can be, but still great for oc.

I was thinking about Pentium anniversary edition for cpu and rog maximus vii ranger for mobo. some cheap RAM and here we go! for ln2 pot i will choose an EK one, because it is the only one i can get in my country.

if you have any thoughts or suggestions about the project feel free to let me know 🙂

Not to say thing on ROG but you should go for other mobo so as to cut price on it and buy a nice XMP Ram OR it will dump memory at higher clocks.

And make sure you buy Ram with nice heatsink or you will have to insulate it and buy LN2 pot for ram also.

which ram and mobo would you recommend then? id like some that are cheap yet powerful. as far as i know gigabyte and msi make good boards and corsair and gskill makes good ram. however i am still open to suggestions and any advice you have about ln2.
