Unhappy Proper way to re-install bios ?

    Hey guys !

    1. Is it possible to re-install (rev. 802 to 802) a bios from scratch? Not talking about clicking on "default settings" but a complete "format/reinstall"

    2. What would be the proper way?
    - clear cmos
    - re-install bios
    - re-apply settings

    Or

    - re-install bios
    - clear cmos
    - re-apply settings

I see this helping some people. As for my part, i just want to try something as i have never cleared cmos throughout all the bios i did

    Thanks!

    Max

    1. Yes. Use the USB BIOS Flashback procedure to do so.

    2. Clear your CMOS. Reflash the BIOS. Clear your CMOS again. Load the optimized defaults. Then you can change whatever you want.
