Bios 204 is out for the g751jy now, has anyone tried it?

i am just wondering if anyone has loaded the new bios. after hearing nightmares about the 203 version, i haven't done anything with mine just yet. thanks for anyone who has used this new version and reports back on it.

AQUASTEVAE, it looks like the downclock in 203 isn't a problem in 204, and 204 update solved this guys over-temp issues with CPU - was throttling, now it isn't

    http://forum.notebookreview.com/asus...ml#post9831179

Read his posts before and after BIOS update to see the CPU over-temp throttling issue solved by BIOS 204.

So, it looks l like at least one of the problems has been solved by Asus, the high temp / throttling issues are fixed with BIOS 204 on G751JY

Please report any problems or improvements you see after updating to 204

Update: it looks like the downclock seen is under full load 100% on 4 cores, down 1x on 204/205.

I'm currently using it - Haven't had any problems so far.

I won't have time to test my temperatures tonight, but earlier when I did prime95 and furmark I was reaching the same numbers as the guy in hmscott's link. I was NOT happy about that!

I've updated 202 to 205 du to issue with RAID 0 SSD on Win 7 Ultimate x64, nothing wrong for me with the 205 BIOS version.
