Resetting G75VX for sale

Hi all, I'm hoping someone can help me. You'll have to excuse my ignorance of how the site operates and my newbness.

I am selling my G75VX and want to reset it for the buyer so they don't have all of my settings etc. I have backed up all of my files etc to an external hard drive.

Is there an easy way to do this or do I need to enlist an IT expert to get this done. I don't want to accidently destroy the laptop just before selling it.

I really appreciate any assistance you can provide me.

Thanks,

Chris

Yes you should download Asus Backtracker and create a restore media 16 GB USB thumb drive.
All you data is backed up elsewhere so restore to factory released condition with the Backtracker USB Media.
If you want you could do Zero write using a disk utilities then restore to factory condition. Insure that your Backtracker USB media works before you damage or delete your Recovery partition.
