hello!

Tech people, im new on this this platform n for the first time im posting any question to forum. Actually I bought asus s400 vivobook ultra last week.

it was on win 8 and when I update from control panel it fails while installing.

now I format c drive only and installed win 8.1 pre activated version and im really disappointed with it on vivo book 8.1 it is causing problems and now when I want to revert on genuine win 8

I cant access recovery partition. I press ESC button on boot and select boot manager then it doesn't open recovery it loads windows 8.1 directly.

Can someone please help mw reverting to genuine OEM windows. via recovery partition.

I'm not 100% sure but windows 8.1 may do exactly what windows 10 preview does

Windows 10 preview when installed Locks the recovery partition so it becomes inaccessible

Again,I'm not sure if 8.1 also did this but I have seen a bunch of threads now on ppl trying windows 10 having the exact same issue and the only response I saw was maybe an Asus certified shop could fix it but Im not certain on it
