131 MB Hardware Reserverd ram whats using it?
Hello first post on here guys im new i am having trouble finding the reason wy i have 131 MB in hardware reserved in resource monitor
X99 RAMPAGE V EXTREME
i am using 16 gigs of ram quad channel
as of writing this i am using the latest bios version it is BIOS 0802
the reason wy i am asking this qeustion is because i have 16 gigs of ram and its showing
16.0 GB (15.9 GB usable) i think thats because 131 Mb is system reserved i checked in Resource monitor so i was hoping turning on or of the memory remapping feature would solv it however i cant seem to find it and i have also heard that If you have more than 8.5 GB of memory usable, the remapping is working anyway i dont no any solutions ideas guys cheers

Hello
OROMs and such that are loaded during POST need to have somewhere to reside.

BIOS needs it, EZ BIOS Needs more, loading the OS also needs it, list can go on, best explanation is... That little is nothing to worry about, unless it gets up to 4GB, then you begin to wonder, if you're paranoid, run an AdWare check
