Software/drivers needed for 3D

Just finished my clean install: so far so good:).

For better performance, I want to install the strict minimum as far as drivers and applications are concerned.

What are the software/drivers necessary to make the 3D functional, including the demos?

Please provide links as well.

Thanks.

What notebook do you have again? If you plan on staying around this forum, you should put your model number and maybe which GPU you have into your signature.
Read the User's Manual for more info. 😄

You could use the nvidia driver in by signature. Or go to nvidia and download 285.62 but be sure to get the notebook package.

Other than that, I know nothing about 3d except that I'm not interested in it. 🙂

Good luck!

(Right click) on the desktop, (click) nvidia control panel, (click) stereoscopic 3D, (click) set up stereoscopic 3D, (click) enable stereoscopic 3D.

Stereoscopic 3D display type should be set at ASUS 3D vision laptop. Make sure to turn on your nvidia 3D glasses, run setup wizard, and you're good to go.

You have to enable 3d vision or something, and your monitor has to be set to 120hz. Didn't you get a manual?
