Just letting you know I experience the same thing while playing watchdogs its noticeable while driving on building window frames and traffic light poles. Like flashes of green and purple almost like wireframe. This monitor sucks balls anyone that thinks it is a good product is an idiot. Im pretty keen to get rid of it. Asus don't want to know about these problems so whats that tell you? It should be taken off the market I feel sorry for people that buy it now. Everyday people seem to have new issues with it. So over it wish I never bought one.

Came here to say that I have the exact same problem with my PQ278Q. I spoke to customer support in germany and they didn't have a clue, but offered RMA. Looking at this forum I am scared to get an RMA. Here is a video I made on it.

Your problem after watching your video is the inversion problem. The problem described here is different. Mine suffers from both inversion and this problem also. If you are seeing that inversion problem in 2d like I think you are in that video for that period of time, I would RMA if I was you. Inversion in 2d on mine only shows up for split seconds at a time. Im quite shocked to see inversion showing on your one for that length of time. You could rma and you may get a better one back with less of an issue, but everyone that has got a new one back they have all said the issue is still there. Otherwise if you really cant live with it, I would think about getting a refund. This monitor is not a good product at all

i am also in germany, and would really love this monitor if it didn't have this problem.
please let us know if you choose to RMA, and if they can fix/will fix this problem.

you will not get an answer from them on these forums

About these BF4 assets that you filmed not sure my self if it's genuine or not, i think in general these lines moving up are BF4 stuff, i think i have same thing whit my Benq, it's just Benq is 24inc and it's harder to see it.

Personally what i don't like about these lines why they have colours on them... but never noticed that on my Swift, they do move up but not so much colouring on them

I've tried BF4 on three monitors so far. The swift, my alienware Aw2310 23" 120Hz 1080p TN panel and an old 60hz HP 1080p monitor. All of them have the colored bars moving up in BF4, I assure you. Therefore, the BF4 issue is a non-issue.

The three problems with the swift are (in a fully working unit that doesnt have other egregious problems):
1) green blur when white transitions to black/gray
2) alternative bright and dark vertical lines of pixels (what some are calling incorrect pixel mapping or screen door effect)
3) failing the blurbusters and lagom inversion tests.

All three could be due to the pixel inversion problem or some other cause.

Yes Asus QC just sucks, in the feature this will Asus sales on anything, because customer will think that this firm can not be trusted. Having bad monitor is one thing people could understand this, but having such a crap customer service staff is another and people will think twice in the future to buy any Asus product. So ASUS listen to people or your company will go down hill. YOUR ARE NOTE PUTING CUSTOMER FIRST AND THATS WHY YOU FAIL.

The BF4 colored bars shown in the video above is not a fault of the monitor. It is an in-game asset. BF4 incldues lens flares, moire patterns, discolorations, etc. for artistic effect.

Both my old TN monitor and my swift show the pattern.

I've noticed this a little bit when playing BF4 this weekend. But overall it hasn't negatively affected game play. It was the sort of thing I noticed when looking for it. I just got this new monitor, and I want to see what looks different about it sort of thing. But once I focused on palying the game and killing people/capturing points, I forgot about it and didn't notice it.

I also experimented with adjusting the settings. Trying to achieve higher frame rates, while lower graphic settings. That seemed to make some of the visual issues go away.

Also, I seemed to notice the affect more when I was inside a flying vehicle, and looking out through the cockpits glass. If I was hanging out the side of a helicopter, then I didn't notice it. But if I was the pilot, then I would notice it.
