    Thanks Tokens, Newegg told me there was a 30 day limit on memory returns, but I like you answer way better (was not aware of that). I have had them since July this year but not installed till a few months ago. I have not OC'ed the memory, no idea how other than the XMP settings.

    I will attempt to contact G Skill after running memtest86 if I find issues. Knock on wood, still no issues with the replacement memory!

    Yea its a crappy situation but at least if it does have lifetime you'll get replacements

    And atleast you figured it out before tearing everything apart to RMA random things till u found it lol

    Well, I believe I have the problem literally "in my hand".

    I put the first stick in and the PC would not post period. System on and running, fans turning but nothing, no post, no BIOS not memtest86 loading from CD?

    I guess that would have to point at that stick?

    Stick2 posts and is running memtest86 just fine.

    Thanks for all the help;
    Rick S.

    Follow up.

    Contacted G. Skill a few weeks ago and was told that if I had run Memtest86 and a stick showed bad they would replace both of them

    Sent them in, received the replacements and ran a quick memtest86 last night and all showed good. Replaced my spare memory today and all is well.

    Maybe the crash was a good thing as my system & FSX runs better now than it ever did.
