5930k Overclock

Hello All,

I wanted to share my overclock and hopefully get some feedback on some possible tweaks.

Core Speed - 4.6
CPU Core Voltage - 1.36250
DRAM V - 1.2
XMP - 2666mhz
Multiplier is 100x46 sync all cores
CPU Cache Voltage is 1.2v
CPU Cache Ratio - 24
BCLK - 100
Temps - ~mid 30s idle with pump set to trickle and rad fans running at low rpm. Max temps have reach mid to upper 50s.

System specs are in sig. I like to run this 24/7, gaming, and the occasional benchmark.

Any thoughts or feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Everything looks fine. Both vcore and temperature is within limit.

If you're feeling adventurous, you can try overclocking your memory or keep going up the CPU frequency ladder.

You don't think that the Vcore is too high at 1.36250?

Thanks for the reply. I was thinking about trying to push it a bit more. I am curious to see how far I can get without exceeding 1.4. I suspect if I am lucky I *might* hit 4.7.

What stress tests did you run i wouldn't think that overclock would be AVX stable most chips can't run AVX stress tests but pass others just fine.

I have ran RealBench and 3D Mark with it and have played a variety of games. I haven't ran Prime yet. No crashes or hiccups yet.

I used linx 0.6.5 to get my overclock stable needed 1.24v adaptive for 4.3ghz .

That s a good voltage to clock speed! I think I might not reach 4.3 with that voltage on mine it is at 1.18 for 4.2
