Mobile GPUs don't yet have G-SYNC support, so this monitor will not work in G-SYNC mode on the GT80. You can use it as a regular monitor, however.

Seeing as there are enough threads already, I'm guessing mine just failed as well. The irony of having to do the captcha for registering 5 times because of random green/purple lines all over the place.

IHas anyone reliably recovered from this? It's even visible on the no signal message so it's clearly the monitor.

Sent messages to both the store and asus support but I'm really considering just giving up and trading it in for something cheaper (obviously lacking a lot of the nice features), seem to be way too many issues to risk getting another one.

Edit: fixed it by unplugging it, question remains, is this a fix for this issue or is it just a temp reset and will it just slowly start dying on me.

Just got my screen back, issue was with LCD panel. They changed it, now it works fine.

Got mine on Aug 30th and it's already dead. It's recognized by the computer when the power button is pressed but the panel doesn't power up and the LEDs don't light up. I'm just going to return it... trying to decide if I want to exchange it or just get a refund. A monitor this expensive dying after 3 weeks is kind of scary to me.

EDIT: Left it unpowered for a while... plugged it back in and it's working fine now. Hopefully it stays that way..
