Upgrading my processor

Hey guys,

I have a G750jm and I am thinking about upgrading to a 8-core processor. What would you all recommend? Also, are there any good tutorials out there for exchanging processors? Thank you!

If my search of this product is correct you wont be able to put an 8 core CPU in it. Currently the only 8 Core I7 (5960x) is for Socket 2011-3 Motherboard. That Lappy has a socket 1150 CPU.

That's if it's even possable to change the CPU. Some laptops are not.

As the previous user said "most" laptops don't allow you to change Motherboard, CPU or GPU so when buying those are the things you'd want to be higher up in tiers

There are some laptops now that I've seen user say do allow changing of certain things but I'm not sure if your is one of them, you'd probly know better

Also as the previous user said each "set" of processors uses a different socket so u can't just plug whatever in, would be like trying to plug a 3 prong plug into a 2 prong outlet
