Hey all..
Can some one tell me with complete confidence that the Rampage Iv BE is different then the Rampage IV BE AC/4? There are so many more driver updates for the reg BE its not funny... I even called Asus and asked, was told there different boards, talk about weird! So, whats the difference? AC/4 stands for Assassins Creed 4 I know so what gives? would love to stick around but gonna have to look for your answer tomorrow, I have the flue 😞 but i figured they are the same boards but have to say they have drivers for both on the site.

Thanks advance...

There should be absolutely no difference between the 2, except one has a code for AC4. Everything on both boards should be identical.

Thank You both. I thought it to be very strange the Asus rep said they were different... but at the same time their are 2 different titles for Bios/drivers etc, so I've only upgraded to the latest bios under the AC/4 menu.

Did they ever fix the x79 DDR3 2400mhz memory problem in the Bios? That's what I have for memory and was very expensive but after reading a lot of the other thread, now I see why my memory isn't seen as 2400, only 1333!

abvolt, you have the same as me, R4BE/4930K/G.skill 2400 64g (cost too much not to be able to run at that speed, %760.00)/Corsair AX-1200i/Crucial M-500 960g SSD, updated Firmware/Asus Matrix Platinum HD-7970 x2 (some say Crossfire's enabled while others do not *scratches head*/Corsair H100i/Corsair H-2100 Headset/Corsair K-95 gaming keyboard.... I suppose I should put that in my profile...lol II'll update it soon but I'm very curious if they've fixed the issue for the 2400mhz ram?
