Hey everyone!
I finally received my ASUS Rog G751JY the other day, and needless to say, it's a BEAST

I'm using it to replace an extremely buggy Lenovo Y510P, and it has surpassed it in practically every way

I've finished updating everything and have played a few games on it, but there's just one thing I can't seem to work out - the webcam.

I do a great deal of Skyping/video-calling/webcam videos, and plan on streaming some gameplay with a webcam inlay, yet so far in using the webcam, I've been rather underwhelmed and can't seem to figure out if it's just a lower-quality webcam or if I'm missing some driver update or something. The framerate is rather abysmal and very perceptible, especially considering that I have a macbook air that I also use for Skype that seems to be shoot at a solid 30FPS, which is great. Although I haven't actually measured it, I'd be surprised if the ASUS webcam is shooting at anything higher than half of that max.

Is this just how the webcam is, or am I missing something here? 😮
