ASUS G74SX-DH73-3D Speaker has buzzing noise

Retired

I got this one last week.
Everything has been working perfectly except the speaker.
I read someone also has the exact same problem which I have and can't fix.
I did everything that I can such as upgrading bios, choosing different option of THX studio but nothing worked so far.
So here is my question. Is there anyone know how to fix my problem?
Please help me.

That link explains what is happenning. Either RMA it or do it yourself.

Good luck and welcome to ROG!

Ok, so from when i first got the ASUS G74S there had been a problem with my mic, i couldn't here it but my friends could, it occurs every time I open a game or load a game, it sounds like a transformer or the hard drive being squished as its trying to play something, some people said that the problem could be the Realtek Drivers, however I am not quite sure, is there anything you can do? Remember I cant hear the sound only my friends can, It is always on High Performance mode

I don't think it's a really serious problem but just annoying.
I'm considering uploading video clip on Youtube about my laptop's weird sound.
Sending my laptop to the Asus AS will be truly a pain in my axx so if I can, I want to avoid doing that.

When you looked at the picture in that link, it's actually not strange why the annoying sound is comming.
Didn't the link to Notebook Review help you out?
If your going to uploading a video clip, perhaps you could post the link to it here, so we could watch/hear how the sound is 🙂

Thanks for helping me out but I decided my laptop to exchange with a new one cuz my problem is a little bit complicated.
More precisely, it makes a buzzing noise whenever I turn up the volume and also that kind of noise keeps appearing in particular sounds.
I wish the new one doesn't have the same problem at all.

So that annoying sound you got is on all the time in the speakers ?

But if you still got a chance to replace your computer with a new one, it's nothing wrong with that 🙂
With the new computer you shouldn't get the same issue(s) as the last one, it should be perfect, but sadly sometimes it doesn't =/
