Scientific studies show that red color can contribute to raising blood pressure, speed respiration and heart rate. when gaming one might need those color of passion, but outside of gaming, especially when working and listenning to musics, personally I find it not very a pleasant color to keep in your lower visible area.
some may suggest just turn the lighting off, but consider at a dark environment you do need some keyboard lighting to find keys to press effectively.

so the obvious question would be: can we change it to other color?
