    turbo boost

    I am just curious I am now at 4.5 ghz 1.280 volts , setting 3 cores at 46 and 3 at 45 does this yield any results....

    I can do4.6ghz @ 1.344 volts . all I am asking is there any benefit running 3 cores at 46 and the other 3 at 45 or does it even work .
    In benchmarks like cinebench r15 there is no benefit at all , thanks for the reply.

    II am running 4.5ghz on all cores and 4.6ghz but I choose not to go over 1.3 volts for 24/7 use .....

    The difference in performance is there. It might be small but it's present.

    4.5GHz on all cores.

    so guess its the first 3 cores at 46 and the others at 45 , I can go higher to 4.8 on 3 cores and 45 on 3 stable
    running stable linx 0.6.4 and aida 64 realbench ..

    The only requirement is that the previous core must be equal or higher than the next one.

    ok so for instance 2 cores at 4.8 then 1 core at 4.7, 1 at 4.6 2 at 4.5 would that be good to go..

    Thanks might be something in it in bf4 , passmark yielded some higher results . 17204 cpu score passmark
    3 cores 48 3 45 ... looking at the oc panel reading 4.8ghz looks pretty cool.
