What is this? I am pretty sure it is advertised as an M2 SSD... I also double checked it is G751JT-DH71.. Is it just a mislabel? Newegg btw

Death12312, a little more info would help, but guessing this is yours just purchased from newegg, I would call newegg and tell them of the discrepancy before opening it.

If you wanted the PCIE2 then I would hold out for it, as newegg to find the correct box/config and see it to you for the same price, no fair advertising one thing at an agreed price and shipping you something else!

None of the -JT models come pre-installed with an M.2 SSD, the default is SATA3, although M.2 is available as an upgrade on certain sites. All -JY's come with a PCIe M.2 SSD.

I understand the confusion though, the online retailers only recently updated their spec's to be specific about SSD type, most likely due to numerous complaints.

Yes, M.2 is the form factor, I wasn't very clear, from what I understand, there are three types of drives that can come with the various g751 models, the JT-CH has a 2.5" SATA3 HDD, the JT-DH has a 2.5" SATA3 SSD and a 2.5" SATA3 HDD, and the JY's have an m.2 PCIe SSD and a 2.5" SATA3 HDD.

    This is correct.

I can only see DH72 on Newegg, and it doesn't specify M.2
