Hello,

I am a new member on this forum. I really hope someone who owns this model or a similar model can answer my question. I recently bought a ASUS ROG G751JY-DH71 gaming laptop. The fans seems to be always working and noticeably loud (in a quiet room). From the moment the desktop is loaded, the fans are working non stop. I am not used to this because on my previous laptop, a Toshiba Qosmio, the fans would go almost silent when the computer is idle or when I'm just networking. I assumed this model will be super quiet because of the supposedly efficient cooling system and positive reviews. I really want to know if it's normal to always hear the fans running on this model. If this is not normal, I may have to return it to Amazon and maybe get a replacement.

If anyone has any insight on this, I would greatly appreciate any feedback.
