Hi ROG forum.

My girls are having some problems with her ASUS G75VW

The power Adapter has the little green light when plugged into the power in the wall, and when it is connected to her laptop, that little green light is turning off.. ?

Is that the motherboard or is that the power adapter it is wrong with ?

Hi,

Is everything else with the notebook working okay and can you still charge the battery when the notebook is turned off?
You might even try removing the battery to test the notebook and adapter, but try to get into the bios with 'F2' instead of booting to Windows in case it powers off unexpectedly.

Anyway, you probably want to try another adapter with the correct specifications to be sure of the problem.

It cant run without battery, and only the charger plugged in. the charger itself turns of whenever it is plugged in to computer, we even tried another charger from same type of computer. no luck so the problem must be internal?!

Yes, unfortunately, sounds like there may be some problem with the notebook if another adapter does the same thing, and you may already know the notebook normally should be able to run without the battery if everything is okay.

Don't think there is a way you can fix it on your end, but just wondering if it appears there are any problems with the notebook power jack that could be related to this.
