    Question Help - need Replacement G750JS keyboard/screen

I have a G750JS model (the one with GTX 870M) and the screen and keyboard need replacing as well as the corners of the actual laptop. Where can I buy a keyboard replacement? I tried amazon and didn't find anything.

I believe this screen is the correct replacement for my model. Someone correct me if I'm wrong please.

Erm.. the problem with keyboard replacement is you can't..

The funny thing is the keyboard AND mouse are intergrated onto the metal deck, (personally I find it weird) so to replace just your keyboard, you'll have to buy a whole new surface.. which I THINK sells in some places for $80-100.

If you want individual keys however.. well....

This might help. Might buy one myself.. some of my keys are getting butchered.. but at $15 per key, I'd rather buy a whole deck.

Wow, $15 for a piece of plastic that probably costs $0.00001 to manufacture. I'll pass on that. My keyboard is still functional but the spacebar and Down key are loose. I can live with that.

Do you know if the screen I selected is correct? That's the most important part. Thanks for helping me, by the way.

One more thing, how do I upload an avatar to my account from my desktop? I'm not given an option to do so in Settings.

Holy hellfire, is that a plastic cover on the metal? That's cool..

Sad to see it's now pretty much $200.. used to only be $100. I should've bought one before, damn. ':f

Also nice find, I have been looking myself.. didn't think to look on Amazon though..

It appears to be compatible, but as to whether it's a direct/identical replacement or not I don't know off hand. You can check out which monitor you have by downloading and installing HWiNFO64. When you run it, the system details window will be able to tell you which monitor you have.

As for the second thing: click on 'Settings,' then 'Edit Avatar,' and use 'Browse' to select a file from your computer (there are limitations as to what you can upload). Make sure the "Use custom avatar" radio button is selected, also, then select Save Changes.

I can't really use my laptop now because the screen is so messed up, so I won't be able to download HWiNFO64. I found this which is for the specific model G750JS. $80 isn't too outrageous I suppose.
$200 isn't worth it to me for a replacement top cover. I can live with how it is currently.

For the avatar, I don't have what you have in my Settings. All I have is the "Do Not Use Custom Avatar" selected and that's the only button to select, thus making it impossible to select any other option because there isn't one. Perhaps I need to have a certain amount of posts or something?

My laptop screen was successfully replaced.
I'm now looking for an internal bluray burner drive that will fit in my G750JS laptop.

    Would this be compatible?
    Panasonic UJ240 6x bluray burner

I would need to download the software and I'm guessing the screws I have on my internal DVD drive would fit this. What do you guys think?
