Well I must have deleted some thing ,,, my m5a99fx with a 8350 cpu fan would ramp up to about 5000 rpm during a game and the cpu core would not go over 42c, loud but I was happy with the temp on a stock heat sink. Now cpu fan speed won't go over 3800 and it's hitting over 60c and higher. Tried f5 resetting the bios, also ASUS's fan program witch says max fan speed is 3800.
also after f5 reset on another try I shut off the oc in bios so cpu would stay 4ghz,,,,,Lost,, I want my noise back.
Any Ideas?

Have you tried plugging it into another Fan connector on the mobo? Or running it not via PWM so it runs at 100% all the time?

After changing some settings in bios to the point it didn't boot once,,the next hard boot I did it was back to normal, fan ramping up to 5500 and cpu staying around 54c.
Sir, back away from your computer, and put the mouse down! 🙂
