and yes this piece of junk has become a nice heavy piece of nice computing AFTER installing windows and drivers without any asus crapware+replacing of sentellic for the synaptics touchpad!

It's because nothing new or different happens. Asus doesn't do ANYTHING to fix any of the the problems we repeatedly see here, so there's no new advice to give. Every answer is in the forum already for people that take the time to look.

And now Asus has new models coming; if we thought our notebooks were orphaned before, support wise . . . . fuhgedaboutit!!

Also, the Asus FTP isn't accessable anymore so I have less to report.

I'm not hopeful about ever getting that BIG BIOS Update we've all been hoping for, either.

So what's the use of checking in 20 times a day? :shrug:

Use this site nVidia drivers support site
Find your nVidia graphic version there and you will get the latest version that is stable, but it's not asus certified as you want it.

But the drivers here is the certified drivers for your graphic card from nVidia

Asus is notorious for not keeping their download pages uo-to-date. So, as others have already explained, you get the latest WHQL nVidia driver directly from nVidia's website. (There's no such thing as an "Asus-certified" version, only Windows certified.)
