So recently I ordered parts for a new computer, as my old rig was not preforming anywhere close to par.

My build includes:

CPU- AMD FX-9590
MB-Crosshair V Formula Z
Cooler- NZXT Kraken X31
PSU-EVGA SuperNOVA NEX 750W

So my issue is that I get the FF code, as well as the CPU light Flashing before the machine shuts off. the Cpu is properly seated, the Cooler is all plugged in, fans don't spin on the case. I'm not sure where to go next.

My two thoughts are either the PSU is not good enough,

or the CPU is faulty.

Anything I'm missing?

ways to trouble shoot these two?

If nothing helps my bet would as well be a faulty mainboard. Can not hurt to try a different PSU though if you have one at hand.
EDIT: The NEX 750W PSU itself should be strong enough with 4 12V rails @20A each.
