150mbps is likely fast enough to handle your internet connection at full speed, but if you want to get 5ghz coverage and more throughput, buy a USB Wireless adapter like a USB 3.0 device listed here (scroll down):

It isn't a bad Wifi card, just a limited function one, as I say above check out the USB 3.0 adapters from Asus.
It isn't worth potentially voiding the warranty by damaging something internal while trying to disassemble to replace the internal Wifi card.
