Hello rdx12311

What's your budget?

If you're going to game you're going to need something a little better than those two.

The 240 would probably outperform the 630 after looking at the specs but the 240 has GDDR3 Vram. The 630 has GDDR5 Vram.

The 630 supports directx 11 - 11.1 the 240 supports directx 10. If you can swing some more dollars and get something better, you'll be glad you did.

Can you list the specs of your pc or the pc it's going in please?

Indeed for gaming neither the GT630 nor the R7 240 are good options, just too slow for anything more than browser stuff or ancient games... and those can be handled by integrated graphics just as well.

no guys my budget is limited and I have to remain in these two graphics card .....so I have given the specs of the two cards .......please compare specs of both cards and tell me which one I should buy ?????? thanks

Thanks for the specs I looked them over, here is something you can have a look at.

The r7 240 beats the gt630 everywhere except the memory bandwidth.

The best and only way to determine which is better is by looking at real world tests. Comparing them by these figures is pointless.
