Hi Liam, have you tried any other driver apart from 347.09? I know that this driver itself causes a blinking effect when 144Hz is run in games, 60Hz and 120Hz run fine. It must be something to do with G-Sync as on Windows desktop there is no blinking at 144Hz, only when the light is red. Rolling back to 344.75 or 344.80 fixes it for me which tells me it's a driver problem.
I'm not sure if the flicker for you and blinking for me are the same problem but thought I'd mention it.
