Dear folks, I have been building computers since 1995 and never came across something like this!
After great anticipation yesterday i purchased and built my Asus V Extreme X99 setup with the Samsung XP941
Crucial 16GB ddr4, Antec 850 Platinum psu, intel 5820K cpu and Noctual nh-d15 cooler. Three problems:
First the original bios version 0603 hanged randomly after few minutes in the bios! Any had this too or should I send back motherboard? After updating to version 0802 and now 0901, the system looks like more stable but I feel a bit uncertain now.
Second problem is that I miss a very important option, necessary to get the Samsung XP941 booted:
Why does my bios miss this one option below? see images below, my bios lacks this option!
Advanced > Onboard Devices Configuration(PCIEx8_4 and M.2 Configuration): [M.2]You should all have it as shown in this picture:

http://rog.asus.com/forum/showthread.php?53091-Rampage-V-Extreme-M-2-Setup-And-Windows-Installation-...Third problem: I temporarily installed wintows 7 64bit on a 1TB Seagate hdd, but it takes the motherboard 3 to 5 minutes to get to the actual first boot screen of windows (black background with the well known windows booting logo colors). During this time right after POST the only thing you see is a black screen and one underscore blinking left top corner.
I would love to enjoy the ROG feeling and with your help maybe I can fix these hickups... Thanks in advance!
