PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAASSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSE, Implement another scaler so we can enjoy HDMI inputs. I play my game consoles on my PC monitor and I need a monitor that can have an HDMI input. I know G-Sync only supports Displayport and the converters apparently don't work with the g-sync module. Please find a way to implement this and regardless of price, this will be my monitor of choice. Looks amazing.

Hello I have 2 questions:

1) Are you going to release a variation of this monitor MG279Q with a g-sync module inside or maybe a similar monitor (1440p, 144Hz, IPS, 4ms) with g-sync in the future?

2) Do you use the same g-sync module in the new batches of the ROG SWIFT PG278Q as it was in the first batches or the new batches of this monitor now have new updated g-sync module that natively support 1440p without the need of being overclocked?

1) At the moment we have only announced the PG27AQ with 4K/60Hz. We are not planning a G-Sync equivalent of the MG currently as we feel the 8-bit TN in the PG is already high-enough quality and it's qualified to match G-Sync perfectly.

2) "Overclocked" is a relative term versus the 1080p G-Sync panels. We were just trying to highlight we pushed the capabilities of it at launch as far as possible to maximize its capability. Since it's FPGA based processor that can be tuned via software and there has been ongoing development on the Nvidia side. We don't disclose specific versions of G-Sync modules - if any - as this is an Nvidia part.

PG27AQ is exclusively G-Sync. G-Sync is an Nvidia exclusive technology so does not support Adaptive V-Sync/FreeSync.

We have yet to announce any further FreeSync monitors but there are certainly some in planning.
