i have asus rmp x99 and have 2X8G rams wher do i need to install the rams in the right side or left side or 1 right 1 left and intall it in the red or black slot thanks

You will want to use slots B1 and D1, this should be listed in your manual.

That's correct. You should be using the DIMM_A1 and DIMM_C1 slots when only using two modules.
