Laptop doesn't charge unless I re-plug the power supply

Hello 🙂

I have a quesion. I currently use Asus js750 laptop.
My problem is whenever I plug my charger to the laptop, it doesn't charge.
The only way to make it charge, is to re-plug my power supply, then it starts charging.

Is there a way to fix this so it will just start charging normaly?

Thanks in advance

.. is your power plug dirty by any chance? Have you tried to clean the pins and terminals on the power brick? ( NOT THE WALL that is dangerous)

I haven't cleaned them because they work.
The problem is that it works only after i re-plug it.
If i turn on my pc, and plug in the power jack, it won't start charging, I'll have to replug the power bank and then it'll be fixed.
This happens everytime I reboot my PC without a power jack.

WTF? 😄

My new power adapter is like that too: I have to replug it oftentimes. My previous adapter didn't, but it burned out and I had to ship it for replacement. Not a big problem here, just curious...
