Replacement of 256 GB SSD with 512 GB ssd
I am interested in replacing my current 256 GB SSD with a 512 GB SSD, but I need to know whether I can add another 256 GB SSD to my current one so I do not have to erase everything and then re-install everything. If I do have to get another SSD (512 GB) is there a way to move everything from my current drive to the new drive without having to re-install everything?
Thanks

you can not add another drive without formatting if you want to raid the drives and migration software will come with the new ssd so you can copy your partitions over without re-installing everything. Takes about 30 minutes to copy the drive contents over - then remove the old drive and boot from the new one.
