You know how you can save your BIOS profiles to USB stick / card. I am wondering if it is possible
to edit the saved file so that the latest BIOS is able load and apply it?

It seems you have to re do your settings every time you update the BIOS to a newer version.

I didn't have much success using manually set BIOS values. (XMP, max CPU core & CPU cache ratios, DRAM Frequency, System Agent Voltage). Got 33, and 6D q-codes, and sometimes the PC would boot but the OS would show only 8/16GB of RAM, and there was some blue-screening with SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION. So I thought stuff it, and went about things a different way.

I rebooted into the BIOS and loaded the "optimized defaults, did the q-fan tuning and boot settings, loaded windows, completed the 5-way optimization at 4GHz in AI Suite, went back into the BIOS and increased the DRAM frequency from 2400MHz to 3000MHZ, and left the rest on Auto. 5/5 times the PC has cold booted without any 33, BD, 6D, or BF errors, and there are no more blue-screens. For the moment CPU is 4Ghz, 100MHz strap. RAM 3GHz and all 16GB show which I am very relieved about. I give 1001 a thumbs up.

The boot process has reached "AA" every time so far, so I'm liking this BIOS revision a lot . The q-code boot sequence seems different...

I can "unhappily" confirm that rev. 1001 compatibility improvements did not include Samsung XP941 and (some?) x16 nvidia cards booting at x8 native.

    Hello

There are not any known incompatibility issues with the XP941 so there would not be any update to rectify them.

It improves the stability of my system running memory speed of 3000 MHz. Also reduces the voltage need of System Agent in order to run 3000MHz.

I still can't get the GSKILL 2400 DDR4 32GB (set) to work on XMP settings. It's even more unstable on 1001 at the moment, can't boot and shows C5 error.

It's working at at 2133 but 5960x seems to work on even less voltage, so that's great.
