ROG OC Showdown Extreme Series and Formula Series

Do you like overclocking and you will like to compete against other overclockers to win kudos and great prizes?

ASUS ROG is launching today the first round or the Extreme Series of the ROG OC Showdown 2015. Divided in two series, Extreme Series and Formula Series, each will be composed of three rounds.



Depending on your type of overclocking and Leagues (if you have an HWBOT account already) you have to pick between those two:

Extreme Series
- Open to everyone
- No limitation on the cooling methodes
- ASUS Z97 and X99 motherboards as well as ASUS VGA for 3Dbenchmarks

Formula Series
- Limited to air and water cooling - min temperature is set to 20 degrees
- Only Enthusiast, Novice and Rookie Leagues from HWbot can participate
- Overclockers that participate in offline international competitions are not eligible
- ASUS Z97 and X99 motherboards as well as ASUS VGA for 3Dbenchmarks



The competitions are organized in co-operation with HWBOT.org, and competition partners Intel®, G.Skill, Enermax and der8auer Extreme Cooling Components (8ECC), subzero overclockers will enter the Extreme series. All other contestants will compete in the Formula series, in collaboration with partners Intel, HyperX® and Enermax.

For this first round, the total combined prize value for both Extreme and Formula series will be USD$8,500.
