This makes me a bit curious: why is there a Thunderbolt header on the board if Thunderbolt is not supported?

Development of motherboards comes first; with anticipation of getting as many boards as possible compatible to provide more features. Validation comes later, where we have to abide by others rules unfortunately.

I started playing with it and made it work. the only problem I am getting is my asus PB287q 4k screen only at 30hz, if I connect it TB. but if directly ton graphic card its 60hz with display port and hdmi cable are in use..

I wanted to test this on data transfer but my TD hdd is not yet on hand...
