Asus G20 g20aj 180w Power Supply Photo, Showing the Technical Info

Hi,

I just bought an Asus g20aj, w/the Intel i5-4460 CPU, and a GeForce GTX 750 GPU, today. It came w/the 230W, Model ADP-230EB T, power supply.

Can someone show me a photo of the 180W power supply that came w/their g20aj system, showing the specs on it, including the Asus Model number on it? I want to try to get the exact same power supply if I can.

I've seen a picture of the 230W power supply posted, for those whose system came w/the 180W power supply, but in my case, the reverse happened, where mine came w/the 230W instead, due to the hardware configuration.

I plan to eventual upgrade everything, including the CPU.

I got a deal on the system today, due to it being an Open Box, for $200 off, plus an additional 10% off, for $611.99, plus tax, at BB.

Thanks.

For those who may be interested.

Here's the Asus 180W power supply Model: ADP-180MB F, 19.5V, 9.23A, 100-240V~50-60Hz 2.34A

I stopped by a local Fry's store today, which happened to have an Asus G20 w/the i7 CPU on display, and went and took the information off of the 180W power supply.

I found a 180W on ebay yesterday, brand new, w/the exact same model number and specs that I posted above, and so I bought it. The only difference, the connector is a 90 degree vs. the normal straight. There are some on Amazon.com as well, again w/the same model number and specs.

Most likely going to be upgrading my ROG G20 (i5/GTX 750) to a GTX 950/960 and really needed this! Thanks again

Hi. I am in need of a power adapter for my g20aj also (as I posted about today). To be clear, you are saying this model is correct:

http://www.amazon.com/Asus-ADP-180MB-ac-adapter-180-watt/dp/B00IY6FPAW

Do you have any idea if this one would also work?

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00GCST6YA/ref=pd_lpo_sbs_dp_ss_2?pf_rd_p=1944687662&pf_rd_s=lpo-to...

I'd recommend staying w/the ADP-180MB F, 19.5V, 9.23A, 100-240V~50-60Hz 2.34A, since it is the one which is offered w/the Asus G20.

The cheaper one isn't even an Asus brand, plus the connector may not fit, so you are taking a risk there.

Check on eBay where the ADP-180MB F is a lot cheaper.
