Hello guys.I had plugged in some old headphones in my rear green jack and after a while i got a high pinched sound and im pretty sure my green jack got damaged.My questions are:
1)Is this dangerous for the whole motherboard?like damaging other parts or just my green jack died?
2)Is this covered by warranty/should i rma mother or just buy a new external sound card?(i had issues with my sound card prior to this event like very very quite mic or 2.1 speakers not working properly whereas in other pc's working perfectly).
