Not sure if you were going to upgrade the parts yourself or how well this will work, but if you didn't know already, you can also check with the local ASUS support in Thailand for suggestions although they may not be able to help you much with upgrades.

If you think it will help, you might just check if they know of some ASUS resellers that you can trust (that may be able to help you with upgrades if you want it).

You may also want to let us know if you are just looking for a local store to buy parts from or someone to install the upgrades for you too (and re-image the SSD?) if you want to get more opinions.

Kevinmw, never been myself, but there seems to be a few postings about hunting down parts in Bangkok on google, here is once with a few responses:

What is THE BEST (1 only please) iStudio store in Bangkok?
    http://www.tripadvisor.com/ShowTopic...k-Bangkok.html

That post is for parts for a Macbook, but SSD's are SSD's, and perhaps these google search results will be better:

This place looks pretty huge, and has PC parts:

    Pantip Plaza Bangkok

And, that same site has lots of shopping locations listed:

Top 10 Shopping Experiences in Bangkok

Please post back what and where you got it, and had it installed
