Hello,

I am planning to buy a GTX 970, ive been reading about the coil whine issue on these cards. Some say that the reference
card does not have this issue. Any advise on which one to purchase? MSI, EVGA??

Go with EVGA, they have by far the best customer support in the business.

It's hit or miss on coil whine regardless of the GPU make or model.
I've owned a number of EVGA cards throughout the years and I can say that not one had coil whine.
