Has anyone experienced the videos between missions to be choppy? (The ones that show the map and the next destination)

Yes I have actually. But I was using another gaming laptop which had a GeForce 8800m GTS 512MB. I figured it was my weak graphic card that was causing the choppiness. I will need to test it on my new Asus to see if I still have that.

Which laptop model? It's weird that the gane plays fine but cutscenes don't . G73jh?

I have the same system, never saw anything like that.

Did you ever update your Wifi driver? This wifi driver causes problem on and offline. See the sticky about the Atheros driver.

Also, what nvidia driver are you using?

Well you updated your Wifi driver, that's what I meant.

Why won't you update your nVidia driver. I'd do that before I posted on a forum for assistance? You need to realize that the driver versions ASUS shipped with these units are NOT optimal.

Thanks, I will try that. Which one from your link should I get?

What's the proper procedure:

1. Uninstall driver and remove so it does not reinstall on reboot
2. reboot
3. run setup ?

Well, I uninstall the driver then restart, then use DriverCleaner.net to cleanup. I don't worry about the one Windows installs. I have no idea how to stop it anyway. Then restart again.

Most people that use DriverSweeper instead of DriverCleaner.net, restart into Safe Mode to do the cleanup then restart into Win7 to install.
