    G751 SSD M.2 bracket needed

    Hello guys,

I'm new to the ROG world, days ago I got my new G751 but I would like to upgrade the Sandisk SSD 128GB SATAIII with a new 256GB SSD M.2 since I have an available port inside.
There is a problem: my HDD bracket is for the traditional SSD/HDD type and to connect the SSD M.2 I need the correct bracket.
So, anyone can help me finding the part number on a store? Where can I buy the part?
    Thank you in advance,

You can use foam and electric tape to secure the M2. You could also use the SSD and the M.2 at the same time. There is a thread here about having 4 drives

Link to the add a fouth drive thread: http://rog.asus.com/forum/showthread...e-to-your-G751

It has been stated by Asus PR that the M.2 bracket will not be sold separately... perhaps this will change in the future. Till then your best bet will be to find someone that is not using theirs and is wanting to sell; Ebay or a laptop forum with a B/S/T area.

Hello guys, thank you all for answering.
I think I will choose the 3D Printing option since I know someone who can help me realizing this simple piece of plastic.
The real problem is taking the dimension shown in the picture (dimension in red colour).
I would appreciate if someone can help me taking this dimension.
    Thank you in advance!

I only need that dimension, then the hard work is done! This is what I thought:

Below link was posted in another thread some time after this initial discussion. Don't have the dimensions, but you can get the original part.

I actually made a 3d printed M.2 bracket myself. Well i made 13 versions before i found one that was perfect but its on shapeways if anyone still needs one. It has an open top for heatsinks.
