How to disable Secure Boot in Asus Z97i Plus ?

Hello,

In the Bios, in Security settings, I've added an Administrator and User password. But still "Secure Boot: Enabled" is greyed out in Asus Z97i Plus Bios, no way to edit it and disable it. I need to disable it in order to be able to dual boot into Linux. Thanks for any pointers.

Depends what other connected devices there are. If there is one add-in card that requires firmware loading but doesn't have UEFI security it will have to be disabled.

You are saying that dual boot Windows / Linux is sometimes possible with Secure Boot enabled, sometimes not possible, and that depends on which PCI cards are plugged in the motherboard, correct? Does that imply that disabling Secure boot is impossible with the current bios of Asus Z97? Just trying to understand. Are there any guides on how to dual boot with asus motherboards? I have successfully installed ubuntu and am using it now, but only way to boot to it is to insert the Ubuntu bootable USB and select it as boot device in the Bios.
