Ssd Upgrade - Totally blown away by the performance increase!
Well I finally did it today. I put in a Samsung EVO 850 250gb SSD, and I am totally blown away by the performance increase. If you havnt dont this yet, what are you waiting for. For under $125 you can give your box an insane speed boost. Not just Boot times got better, everything is better. Web pages are much snappier. Programs run faster. I havnt tried any games yet, but im sure the load times will be far reduced. I love it!
My old HDD was getting questionable, or just loaded with virus's one. My virus software says its not infected, but it takes 10 mins to reboot.
So I started with a fresh UEFI install of Win7 HP, got all the updates, and wow. 15 seconds boot time. INstant program starts. I love it.Last edited by jowens1126; 03-07-2015 at 11:18 PM.
