MAXIMUS VII HERO BIOS 2401
Improve system stability.
Anyone tried it?

It's been out for a little bit and it works well for me. There's already a thread on it.

After using maximus vi hero and now with maximus vii hero, i learned that if the changelog is "Improve system stability" means that it destroys system stability. I got multiple bsod's all the time with the same oc settings on 2401. So I revert back to 2304 and everything is fine.

I'm not oc'd, however I haven't run into any issues yet with the 2401. With that said I was wrong about another thread on this bios as I was thinking about the previous version.

Updated to 2304 yesterday - So far it has been fine - No issue noted with my overclock ie still just as stable as previous bios.

Hello,
I have tried it, but I didn't had much time on hand at the PC, the only problem I saw so far are some serious FPS drops in games and it's pretty severe.

Every Bio's after 11.04 has me crashing with BSOD's with an overclocked system and I'm using a K series chip. Took me about 3 flashes for 24.01 to actually manage to get "Stable" Not to sure why it took me multiple writes of the bio's to actually get it stable however I did learn to copy the profile to a flash drive.

Anyone having problems flashing back to a previous bios after installing 2401? Whenver I tyr using EZ flash with USB drive formatted as FAT32 I get message this is a not a proper bios. I can flash 2401 repeatedly using the same flash drive but no prior version. Thanks
